Anna Moro -Lin made his debut in 1978 with an exhibition at the Gallery The Ferry to Venice.
The lyrical abstract matrix characterizes the first phase of its pictorial and graphic. The production of the following years is characterized by the eruption of the paper in painting. The approach to the subject matter of his work is to analyze the meaning and weight of the operational process and to recognize the accidental elements that contribute to final result.
The search of Moro-Lin continues by focusing on the values of space and substance. The overcoming of the concept as an object leading to the fragmentation of the central space and the production of a “place” that is visual and tactile at the same time. The need to broaden the content and the boundaries of her work stimulates to experiment with new materials and new issues related to recycling and environmental problems.
She has made more than fifty solo exhibitions, she has been invited to international workshops and exhibitions including 1998 , 2004 , 2005, 2006 , 2010 editions of “Miniartextil”, Como; Helsinki “left over”; Charmey “Triennial International du papier” , Rome “Off loom” ; 1997 2003 2009 edition of “International Textile Art”, Graz; ” 2nd Edition Contemporary Textile Art”, Foggia; “Tramarte – Fiber Art and Beyond” and subsequent editions of “Tracarte – international exhibition of works paper”, Ljubjana; “Our daily bread”, Tournai; “Triennial internationale de la tapisserie “, Varna ( Bulgaria); “Conflicts / Dialogues”, Pezinok (Slovakia); “Invisible exhibition”, Ruzomberok (Slovakia); 6th International Paper Symposium, Ryn (Poland).
